As the year was coming to an end, I decided to give my students an opportunity to show what they’ve learned. It was my hope that through the ebb and flow of the year, they would learn a few lessons. See the descriptions below and view the image to see their images.
The first step to revitalization is an embracing of both young and old. Change is inevitable, but change untempered by wisdom will only result in a return to the dysfunction of the past. Simply put, we must know where we are going by knowing where we came from.
Questions to ponder…
How does this personal interpretation hurt both the church and the school? Is curricular commonality amongst the nation’s institutions a bad thing? How does discernment play into our vocation? Should we actively discern our activities in work as reverently as we do in our religious practice?
What would it look like if we did what was right and it was the norm.
We are concerned that our churches are dying; It is high time that we begin teaching about a sustainable future.
